What makes you different?

You do know that you are one of kind. Right?

Please use your uniqueness to your advantage. In the chair you must give the clients a different experience from any other chair..

Yes. The next barber or cosmologist will be completing the same attempt of action (i.e. haircut, trims, does, etc..) but they can't do it the way you will do it.

Here's what I mean. Anyone can cut hair, it isn't hard. The action of running a machine over your scalp sounds simple. Right? Taking a outliner and creating a edge seems simple.. But the key element that is missing and separates the regular consumer from the professional, is your ability to perfect an haircut.

The advantage is your uniqueness because you know how to cut or style the client hair like no other. Your different skillset and eye for creativity puts you past anyone else. You have to provide that experience everytime the client sits in your chair. You must show the client that they can only get this cut from you. Your own flavor has to be shown at all time while working and providing service. Why? Because if you don't, the opening for another person is there for the taking.

It's not just about the aspect of service. The details being used during service is what sets you apart. Ask yourself.. Are you the same as the person next to you physically and or in distance (another shop)? What will you do to make your time desirable to be spent with, while servicing the people?

The answer is in you. Now that you know that. You have to bring it out of you.
